Samsung LN40C550 40-Inch 1080p 60 Hz LCD HDTV (Black) Review
Just bought the LN40C550 and am very pleased. I picked up the LN40B530 a month ago on sale for 4 and was less impressed - the panel wasn't as attractive as I expected (my PN50B650 looks great dowstairs) and the base was really crappy. When the 40C550 came out on sale for 8 I had to swap (and I only paid shipping to swap). Very happy with Amazon's customer service and the new TV blows the old one away. Remote/menu is superior, picture is comparable to my eye but the physicial TV is really sweet looking - even down to the button-less TV controls (vs. buttons on the B530 panel). Overall very happy, but the picture still doesn't compare to my plasma downstairs.
